I will start this thread because I like reading very much.

At the moment I read the book "Generation stupid" it's a German Book from Stefan Bonner and Anne Weiss.

It is a sarcastic book about young people they can't live without Facebook, they want be a star and not a normal job. This book is thinking about the generations and the difference between the generations and that's on a sarcastic way.

Best wishes

Hi, Nicole! Yay!

Do you think this book can be obtained in English? It seems to be a really interesting book. It doesn't only deal with a very current situation, but I bet the way it deals with it must be second to none, mainly as they're witty authors. Applause

I'm reading Paulo Cohelo's Victoria Decides To Die. It's a terrific novel that makes you reflect. A girl who's desperate gets into a mental hospital. When she thought she was crazy, she discovers her situation is nothing compared to other people's situations, which inspires her to have another vision of life. I recommend this book as well as this writer!

Hey, Nicole! This book you're reading seems really interesting! Yay!

Hello MusicElf and Anita,

I don't know is there a English Version from the book but I will ask in a book store when I have enough time. :-)

Thank you very much, Nicole! Hi

I'd like to resume my reading. There's a collection of short novels by Stephen King I'd like to take up. They include The Mist, which I like a lot. Yay!

I only read books of English as a Second Language, but I'd like to expand my range of reading!

Today I started reading The Woman In white, by Wilkie Collins. It's a classical, and I've always wanted to read it. I have the Penguin Reader edition. Razz

Did you know The Woman in White's one of the FCE Set books for 2011, as well as Jurasic Park?

You can listen to this podcast about the book. It won't spoil your reading time, I promise! Cheesy

I Don\'t Know Podcasts? Mmmm.... I have no idea, Liliana. Wink But if you give me some time, I'll find out whether there are Penguin Readers with audio for these two books, Smallville and Vampire Diaries - sometimes TV series turn into audio books.

I've just finished reading Tina Fey's book, Bossypants. It's laugh out loud funny and talks about her progression through an awkward childhood to becoming a comedian, writing for Saturday Night Live and her experiences in motherhood. I highly recommend it. Smile
