Perhaps you're one of those who, just like me, don't dream of having the latest technological innovations or gadgets.

Or maybe you're not.

So you want to have the latest iPhone, or iPod, or iPad version. And you know what's new regarding video games and consoles, and what are the most innovative features of desktops, laptops and even mobile phones.

Well, I'd like you to tell me whether you're one of these people who love technology and, if so, what's the gadget you're proud of having, or the gadget you want to have. What are the features of these? Why is it unique? Is it too pricey?

Why not, your best friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife/co-worker/secret friend/distant friend/whoever reads this thread and gets good ideas for your next birthday... You never know!!!

I wanted an iPad, but after considering different facts included the ones discussed in this forum, now I prefer to buy 20 books, a notebook and a pen. Oh, and a mobile with camera and music player. To make the long story short, iPads suck.

They can be useful, but not for everyone. Some people must find laptops far more convenient because of connectivity, or turn to other tablet brands such as Samsung Galaxy.

I'm not fond of having the latest technology, but I do want an MP3 or MP4 player with good battery duration in order to listen to music and podcast, but the best I can find is a 4GB MP3 player. And I wouldn't like to have an iPod as the capacity is too much for me to deal with.

From my last post... these weeks I have seen that iPads can be really useful for students. I just prefer to wait until they're cheaper and more advanced. I still stick to notebooks.

If so, I guess Samsung tablets might be better than iPads, except for the typical security issues surrounding Windows.

How about kitchenware of household appliances?
