I'll bring back one thread that Anita had opened in the previous forum (which is a wreck now with the new forum changes in the other server): The Key Word Challenge!
These were the previous sentences:
Round 1

Just some corrections:
1. They say he was the best student in the group. [BEEN]
Look at the sentence, it's reported speech. Pay attention to the tense of the reporting verb as well as the tense of the fact that is being reported.
4. A policeman assisted us, but he was very rude. [ASSISTING]
You're about to make a single sentence. Make sure it's a reduced/contracted relative clause.
5. The number of compact discs which were sold increased slightly. [IN]
It's OK, but remember: adverbs describe verbs, adverbs and adjectives and nouns describe nouns.
