Camera Time! :-)
Well, some of us remember that in the previous forum we had a thread rich in photography lessons and, of course, rich in photographs.
I'm positive this time it won't be different, mainly when knowing here we are with people who love photography with all their souls: Jose, Nicole and Vixxie.
So, my dear photographers... Time to show off!!

Re: Camera Time! :-)
I dunno why but this is likely to be the best thread of the whole forum. Oh! let's say the true, read mhy signature
Well, let's start with photographs:
This in one of the most recent pictures I've taken:
As always, Comments, suggestions and thought are thankfully welcome :-D Don't hesitate if you have something to say, the worst that could happen is to get banned, ha ha ha, just kidding. I'll wait for your commens ;-)
Now a little question about this, isn't it the plural of photograph photographs?:
The thing is that one time I thought the plural was in the way you wrote it but wise Word correct me saying that it was Photographs. Was it a Lapsus Linguae?

Jose, believe me.... Your reputation's going to boost 1000% as I'll vote positive for all your pics! They're great!
The one you've just posted is one of my favourite ones!!
I know a bit of French. But I'm forgetting absolutely everything. The same happens to my German.

Yes they are. The first is my pet Canela. The second one is my catlike nephew 'Simon Snarf'. My cousin's son. Since his childhood has been naughty, he broke a flower vase and has fallen pieces of glass in his left eye.

Cool!!
In the first pic... Isn't that Uribe?
Photoshop's a really handy tool for edition. It's got countless options to try. So it's great to know you're using it!

Jose, I have a question... The the feature of composition that you taught in the previous forum, is it applied to every picture except for portraits?

Re: Camera Time! :-)
I would say it could be applied for every photograph you take depending on te intention. For instance most of my plants pictures don't accomplish the thirds rule. But almost every portrait does. Except, for instance, the ones in which the background is not important for the picture. When I take a pic indoors I usually don't use the thirds rule because the background is not important. Otherwise, in the Uribe's picture :p as it was a demonstration it was important not just the subject but the ones surrounding him. So the main subject was placed at the left bottom of the pic, and people is watched with a blurry effect
Re: Camera Time! :-)
I see!
But you said in the previous forum that the blurry effect was achieved by having a specific distance from the target object. When you take a picture of a plant or an animal it is ON (about 1 cm far), but what about people? For example in sport events?
Your pictures are great, Jose!

Re: Camera Time! :-)
The blurry effect depends also on the lenses you use, as I don't have an interchangeable lenses camera I can't show you how would it be. But over the internet should be plenty of examples, so next posts I'll show you.
By the way I want to introduce all you my daughter I adopted her last week, it's adorable I love it. And even daddy said to me I couldn't bring her now He also loves her. She is Salomé:

Re: Camera Time! :-)
Hello Jose can you explain me what I have to do to post a photo, please. I have no idea.
Re: Camera Time! :-)
What I do is to upload to picture to Flickr which is a page to upload pictures you've taken, you can create albums, presentations and some things more.
Then, once you've uploaded your picture to flickr, you select it and then you click in share and there is an option called HTML or BBC code, you take HTML code and select the size you want the picture, I suggest 640 x 480, and then take that code and paste it into the space to post a reply and that's it.
Try it and if you need some help don't hesitate to ask me again.

Let's cry together. I wondered the same!
If we have such talented people, this thread as well as the gallery must be full of pics up until the point the owners of these servers as well as Mr Carlos Slim beg on their knees to stop posting amazing pictures!!

Ha ha ha!
This would be greater than Getty Images Bank, I think.
After this, here again a collaboration.
Who didn't have a tamagotchi?
