Colombia is the happiest country in the world, according to the latest poll carried out by WIN / Gallup International Association. This was the ranking:

Now there could be reasons for Colombia to be a happy country , but the happiest?
Interestingly, many - if not all - of the countries in the top 10, 20 and 30 suffer from massive social and economic inequalities.


So I want to ask you, as the thread title says, what makes a country happy.
What is a good country to you? And are you happy in your country?

I don't know what a country makes happy.
But I'm happy in my country.

Colombia is not a happy country but an ignorant one. We are distracted by media and because of that we continue voting for the same corrupt governors, and we continue accepting these miserable salaries without any complaint, and we still have these stupid soap operas that do not let us see the news show critically. This, to answer your second question: I am not happy in Colombia.

Gerard Depardeu changed his nationality because he did not agree with high taxation in France. Now he is Russian. I would not change my nationality under any circumstance, but it makes me angry we're going backwards in history; instead of evolving for good we are getting worse.
